Government and non-government schools across the state are still confused about the 5th board exam. Around 13 lakh students are waiting for the government’s decision on the 5th class. But the situation is that till now it is not even clear whether the board of 5th class will be exams or the examination will be done in schools itself. Because, so far, no exam forms have been filled for this class. However, the Education Department is also not clarifying whether the 5th board examination will take place this year or not?

The proposals which were sent earlier by the state government, have not received the green signal from the government so far. At the same time, the date sheet has not yet been decided for class 6, 7 and 9th and 11th examinations. It is believed that Education Minister Govind Dotasara will announce on Monday the proposals of the Directorate of Elementary and Secondary Education. Education department officials are also unable to speak anything about the 5th. He believes that now there are three options for the students of 5th class, which can be worked on further.

Option one: Like the previous education session, this time too, children should not be directly promoted by conducting 5th board examination. For this, a certificate will be issued from the school concerned. This certificate will be the basis of admission in class six.

Option two: It is possible to conduct such examination at the board level of the education department, in which students are called for examination in their own school instead of going to other school.

Option three: Like every time, 8th as well as 5th board examination should be conducted. It will have an examination center in another school and can take the exam on the basis of 60% syllabus. This option is less likely because the child of the fifth has not gone to school for a single day in this session.

Wrong report on social media viral
On the other hand, a time table which has gone viral on social media since Saturday is also being said as old. In this time table, there is a time table for examinations from class 6 to 9 and 11. Director of Secondary Education Saurabh Swamy said that no such circular has yet been issued. He termed the viral circular on social media as outdated. According to sources, the directorate has sent a proposal to conduct the examination to the government. It has suggested dates for class 6, 7, 9 and 11 exams. It is also proposed not to conduct 5th board examination. If this happens then once again the students of Vth will be passed without any examination.

Dotasara will announce
Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasara will announce the exam schedule on Monday. There will be a separate program for classes 6, 7 and 9 as well as 11th. There is an attempt to complete all the exams by the third week of April. At the same time, the examination of 6th and 7th will be held simultaneously. Director Saurabh Swamy said that the official announcement regarding the examinations will be made by Monday.
