Corona is being overshadowed by the MP board examinations. The board is considering extending the date of examinations.
- Preparation for the 9th and 11th examinations starting from April 13-14 with open book system
- Preparation of examinations not possible due to school-college closure till April 15 in 7 districts including Bhopal, Indore
The corona is seen falling on the examinations of Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MP BOARD). In the month of April, the infection is increasing steadily. Due to this, the board is now considering to extend the dates of the 10th-12th (high school and higher secondary) examinations. Let us know that the examinations of 10th and 10th of May are to start from 1st April to 12th. Ministry sources said that the decision regarding board exams will be taken in the review meeting of CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan on 12 April. Earlier, during the meeting, the Chief Minister will discuss the current situation in all the districts of the state with the collectors.
The 9th and 11th classes are scheduled to start from April 13-14. The board is preparing to conduct these exams with the open book system. Regarding this, School Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar said that the department has been instructed to conduct the examinations on time. But if the transition situation worsens, it may be considered to extend the date of board examinations, but a final decision will be taken after April 15. While how to conduct 9th-11th examination, options are being considered at the governance level.
Actually, the preparation of examinations is being affected due to increasing corona infection. It has been decided to close schools and colleges in Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Betul, Chhindwara, Khargone and Ratlam till April 15. In such a situation, there will be no preparation for the written examinations of class 9th and 11th. In such a situation, the government is considering to conduct both exams with open book method. That is, the student will solve the paper right from home. Earlier, the higher education department has already decided to conduct undergraduate first-second year and post-graduate second semester examinations using this method.
Government has refused to give general promotion
However, the board is preparing to conduct the examination as per the schedule. If the corona infection subsides or stabilizes by April 15, the examination will not proceed. The board has already issued instructions to manage the rescue from corona at the examination centers. In view of the increasing influence of Corona, the Board of Directors to increase the examination center has also made a new arrangement. The reason for this is that the government has refused to give general promotion.
