Tech Mahindra to create 1,000 jobs in UK
BRAND-NEW DELHI: Info Technology firm Tech Mahindra on Friday stated it plans to create new revenue streams and add 1,000 jobs in the UK. The tech giant will collaborate with a leading academic community and research study institute in the UK to co-innovate at Tech Mahindra’s Makers Laboratory in Milton Keynes, it said in a declaration.
As many as 1,000 jobs will be produced by the business in the UK, the statement stated.
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who is on a two-day visit to India, made an announcement concerning a new collaboration between the two nations on AI. The effort intends to grow development and success in both the countries and harness the power of emerging innovation to confront global difficulties.
“Trade and investment between the UK and India is developing good jobs and sustaining livelihoods in both of our countries. I am really delighted that Tech Mahindra has decided to join the legions of Indian business investing in the UK, increasing our innovation sector and driving financial development,” Johnson said in the statement.
Tech Mahindra Managing Director and CEO CP Gurnani said developments and applications of Artificial intelligence (AI) can substantially transform performance and develop income streams for companies in the UK.
“We are also committed to investing in the regional communities we operate in, and initiatives like these help increase the employability of future technologists in the UK as well as globally,” he included. PTI PRS RUJ
