Schools are going to reopen in Madhya Pradesh from 1st to 8th of April, but parents’ consent will be mandatory.

Schools are going to reopen in Madhya Pradesh from 1st to 8th of April, but parents’ consent will be mandatory. The decision to open a school has been left to the Crisis Management Committee due to the growing Corona case in Indore and Bhopal. Giving this information, School Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar said that children cannot be kept in the house for a long time. School operators must follow the COVID protocol. Children below Class One will have to wait for now.

The School Education Minister said, the new teaching session in the state is going to start from April 1, 2021. All schools from the first to the eighth will be opened in the new semester. Like other states, the demand for opening of schools in MP was being done for a long time, but due to Corona, the government was constantly reviewing. Explain that admissions have started in all schools for the new teaching session.

Minister Parmar said that special precautions will be taken in Indore and Bhopal. It will also be the responsibility of the school operators along with the parents. He said that the number of students in government schools is very less. If needed, schools will be run in two shifts. If the corona control is not in place, then we will decide further.

Here, ministry sources said that schools below class one will not be opened in the state at present. That is, the children of nursery, KG-1 and KG-2 will have to wait longer. School operators still have to strictly follow the Kovid protocol. 9th and 10th schools have opened in the capital Bhopal, but no case of infection has been reported in the schools.

Schools from 9th to 12th extended 2 hours
The state government has extended the school hours from 9th to 12th hours. In this regard, Public Education Commissioner Jayashree Kiyawat has issued an order late Wednesday evening. The order said that regular classes in schools could not be conducted for 6 months due to corona infection. Due to which the students’ studies have been affected. Now the time for examinations is also near. Keeping this in mind, the time of High School and Higher Secondary Schools has been done from 9 am to 7 pm. The order is implemented with immediate effect. Please tell that till now the time of schools was from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm.
