Schools from the first to the fifth closed in Bihar due to Corona will be reopened. The Bihar government has decided to open all government and private schools in the state from next month. In a meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar, it was decided that from March 01, all private and government schools in the state will be opened for primary classes with Corona rules.

Status will be reviewed after 15 days

The situation will be reviewed again 15 days after school opening. It will then be decided whether classes will continue for these children. During this time, following the Corona Guidelines, only 50 percent of the children will be present in the class daily. Earlier, schools for class 9th to 12th students were opened in the state from January 04. After this, from 8 February, schools for classes 6 to 8 were also opened. After which primary schools will be opened from March 01.

Students from 1st to 8th will be promoted without examination

The state education department has decided to promote students from class I to VIII without examination in view of the loss in education due to corona. The education department has decided that all the students from first to eighth session in government schools in session 2020-21 will be promoted in the next class without examination.

The education department gave information about this by sharing the post on social media. The education department informed that special ‘CATCH UP COURSE’ classes will be run for 3 months in the new session, through which the losses suffered in studies last year will be repaid.
