PML-N leader states Nawaz Sharif may return to Pakistan prior to elections
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Talal Chaudhry on Wednesday stated that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is expected to return to Pakistan before the elections, reported regional media.
The cases submitted against Nawaz Sharif were politically motivated and some people were imposed as the rulers by utilizing the National Responsibility Bureau (NAB), ARY News priced quote PML-N leader Talal Chaudhry as stating during its news program.
Noting the importance of Nawaz Sharif in the celebration, Chaudhry claimed that the former Prime Minister will lead the project in Pakistan whenever the country goes to the polls.
The PML-N leader said that the fresh elections might not be held within the next 5 to 6 months, adding that the delay in polls will increase the problem on the party.
Making sure that cumulative choices will be taken in a coalition federal government, he said that the decision concerning the fresh elections will be taken after seeking advice from the coalition partners, reported the media outlet.
Earlier on Tuesday, Pakistan leading Shehbaz Sharif had actually directed the interior ministry to release a diplomatic passport to Nawaz Sharif.
Pakistan embassy in London was directed to provide diplomatic passports to previous Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and former Financing Minister Ishaq Dar, reported ARY News.
However, the diplomatic personnel stated that only Nawaz Sharif might be released a diplomatic passport, following which, Shehbaz Sharif directed to issue a regular Pakistani passport to Dar.
