PM Modi fulfills Danish equivalent at her 18th century estate
COPENHAGEN: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday fulfilled his Danish equivalent Mette Frederiksen at her beautiful 18th century authorities house Marienborg which is perched upon a hill and surrounded by meadows, woods and lakes. “Marienborg provided the best setting for productive discussions with PM Frederiksen. We had extensive deliberations on how to boost India-Denmark relations,” Modi said on Twitter.
Frederiksen and Modi took a walk on the meadows surrounding the 18th century estate neglecting the Bagsvaerd Lake.
Marienborg has functioned as the official residence of Denmark’s prime ministers because 1962.
At Marienborg, Frederiksen provided a trip of her official home to Modi, who identified a Pattachitra painting from Odisha depicting ‘Ram Durbar’ which was gifted by him when she had actually checked out India in 2015.
Previously, Frederiksen got Modi at the airport here where members of the Indian diaspora had turned up in conventional clothes to invite the prime minister.
