In keeping with the ‘Open Doorways Report’ by the US Embassy on Monday, within the final educational 12 months 2019-20, practically two lakh Indian college students took admission within the American Institute to pursue greater training. In keeping with the report, 20 p.c of Indian college students comprise a couple of million college students worldwide for greater training. The Open Doorways Report is launched yearly by The Institute of Worldwide Training.
Quantity doubled in ten years
In keeping with David Kennedy, Minister Counselor for Public Affairs, “The number of Indian students coming to study in America has almost doubled in the last ten years. The main reason behind this is the high standards of higher education in the US, which gives the students studying for graduation a practical experience to take a step forward in the global economy.
Seven ‘EducationUSA’ centers in the country
The US State Department has seven ‘EducationUSA’ centers in India for counseling services for Indian students wishing to study in the US. These centers are located in New Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Ahmedabad and Mumbai. An embassy official said that another such center is opening in Hyderabad early next year. He informed that other information can also be obtained through the EducationUSA India app.
