Amidst ever increasing cases of corona in Maharashtra, the state government has decided to cancel the final year and final semester examinations of various courses at various universities and other higher education institutes in the state. Minister Uday Samant gave an information about this. He said that students who want to appear in the examinations, they can request in writing from their respective educational institute.
Interested students can appear in the exam
According to the notification issued by the Government of Maharashtra regarding cancellation of the examination, students who have passed the previous semester or year examinations and do not want to appear in the final semester examination, declared the pass based on the total marks of the previous semester or year. Will be done. At the same time, for the students who want to appear in this year’s examinations, the examinations will be conducted only after the evaluation of the local state of infection around the organizing institute.
No decision on ATKT and backlog exams
Shiitra Minister Uday Samant informed in his tweet that students of non-professional courses will have the option to pass on the basis of total marks or to appear in the examination wherever possible. However, for the decision regarding professional courses, the Chief Minister of the state has requested the Prime Minister for guidance regarding the National Councils. However, no decision has yet been taken regarding the ATKT and backlog exams in universities.
