Examination being conducted by RPSC at the divisional headquarters

  • 1 lakh 20 thousand 541 candidates applied, will be conducted till 26 February

The attendance of the candidates in the Assistant Forest Conservator and Forest Range Officer Grade-First (Forest Department) Competitive Examination-2018 by Rajasthan Public Service Commission is close to thirty percent. Five papers have been held at all the divisional district headquarters of the state since February 18 and it is believed that attendance is low due to the examination being conducted after two years of vacancy.

This examination is being conducted by the Commission for recruitment to a total of 204 posts. These include 99 posts of ACF and 105 posts of One Range Officer Grade First. For these posts, the commission had received 1 lakh 20 thousand 541 applications from across the state. The examination started from 18 February and will be held till 26 February 2021. The examination will not be held on Sunday, February 21.

This was the presence in five papers

On 18 February, there was a general knowledge examination in the first innings, there were 1 lakh 20 thousand 541 candidates, but 35 thousand 929 i.e. 29.81 percent attendance was present. In the second innings, all the candidates were also called in the general English examination but 35 thousand 574 i.e. 29.51 percent attendance was present. Similarly, on February 19, the examination of the subject of environmental science was conducted in the first innings, with 33.01 percent attendance. Similarly, in the second innings, there was an examination of statistics and mathematics. Only 23.85 percent candidates appeared in Statistics and 23.49 percent in Mathematics.

Three hours, two innings

  • Candidates are being given 3 hours to solve the question paper and separate papers are being conducted in two shifts.
  • The time of the first innings is kept from 9 am to 12 am and the second shift is from 2 pm to 5 pm.

  • 20 February – Biology in first innings and botany paper in second innings
  • February 22 – In the first innings, there will be physics and in the second innings there will be papers on agriculture, agricultural engineering and Veterinary Science.
  • February 23 – In the first innings, the papers of Computer Applications / Science and Computer Engineering will be the papers of Electrical Engineering and Electronics Engineering in the second innings.
  • 24 February – Chemistry and Chemical Engineering in the first innings and Civil Engineering papers in the second innings.
  • February 25- Horticulture in first innings and Forestry papers in second innings
  • February 26 – In the first innings, there will be a paper in geology and mechanical engineering in the second innings.
