The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has postponed the Chartered Accountant examinations of the Basis, Intermediate and Ultimate programs. Together with suspending the examination, the institute has additionally launched a brand new datesheet for the CA examination 2020. In accordance with the revised datesheet 2020 launched by ICAI, the CA Basis Examination ranging from 9 November will now be carried out from Eight December. Equally, CA Intermediate examinations will begin from November 22 and CA closing examinations will now begin from November 21.
Examination shall be performed overseas
In accordance with the notification relating to the postponement, the conduct of examinations is postponed in view of the circumstances attributable to the corona epidemic and new examination dates have been pushed ahead in accordance with varied programs. For varied programs, CA examination shall be carried out by ICAI in a single shift from 2 pm to five pm on the scheduled dates. The examination shall be carried out at scheduled facilities in a complete of 207 cities throughout the nation. Additionally, CA examinations shall be carried out in Abu Dhabi, Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu and Muscat cities overseas.
