The CA exam for the June session of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is scheduled to be held on July 29. However, the situation may be clear today regarding the examination. The examination takes place every year on 2 May
This examination is held on 2 May every year, but this time due to Corona it was postponed twice. In such a situation, the institute wants to conduct this examination on 29 July. However, in the midst of the situation in the country, parents and students are constantly demanding to postpone it. In this sequence, the public interest litigation was heard in the Supreme Court on Friday. During this, the court issued notice to the institute and asked to clarify its stand by 29 June.
Demand to postpone examination
The petition filed against the examination has sought adjournment of the exam. According to the petition filed, the examination should not be conducted until the coronavirus is over. In such a situation, there are speculations about postponement of examination. Earlier, students who appeared in the Institute CA exam were also given an opt out option. According to this, if the student wants to leave the examination now, he can join the sowing examination in November.
