According to the allegations, on September 14, a 19-year-old Dalit woman was raped by four men in a village in Thana Chandpa area of ​​Hathras district. After the incident, the accused broke the spine of the victim and cut his tongue. The victim died during treatment in Delhi. All the four accused have been arrested in this case. However, the police claim that the charges of gang rape and tongue biting are false.

ADG had given clarification regarding the funeral of the dead body
Earlier, the body of the victim of the gang-rape in Hathras district was cremated late Tuesday night amidst heavy police force. However, it has been alleged on behalf of the family that the police forcibly cremated their daughter. He was not even shown his face. Now ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar of UP has given clarification regarding this matter. They have said that the body was deteriorating, so it was burnt, not forcibly cremated.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had called Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday morning and sought information on the incident of Hathras. The Prime Minister had directed Yogi to take strict action against the culprits of Hathras.
