Donald Trump won’t sign up with ‘dull’ Twitter
SAN FRACISCO: Former United States President Donald Trump has actually chosen not to sign up with Twitter in spite of Tesla CEO Elon Musk buying it, stating “Twitter has become extremely dull”.
Trump said that he will not return to Twitter and will rather use his own ‘TRUTH Social‘ as the only social media platform.
“I am not going on Twitter, I am going to remain on TRUTH. I hope Elon makes improvements to it and he is a great man, however I am going to be remaining on reality,” Trump was priced estimate as saying in a Fox News report late on Monday.
Trump stated he will start “TRUTHing” over the next week. The previous President announcement came minutes after Musk won a takeover bid to take Twitter private for $44 billion at $54.20 a share.
“Twitter’s become extremely boring. They have actually gotten rid of a lot of great voices on Twitter, a lot of their conservative voices,” he said.
Trump was completely suspended from Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat following the Capitol Hill riot on January 6, 2021.
“This is a platform for my voice. TRUTH is a platform for my voice and for my fans,” Trump stated.
“But I want everyone to come over to reality– conservatives, liberals, whatever.”
He did not comment if he was in contact with Musk. “I hope that even my worst critics stay on Twitter, since that is what complimentary speech indicates,” Musk had tweeted.
