Delhi authorities will present on-line studying of ‘accountable use’ of social media to the scholars of state authorities faculties to sort out cyber threats. Underneath this facility, greater than seven lakh college students can be offered within the faculties of the State Cantonment Board and NDMC. The one-month collection of on-line classes ranging from 23 November will embrace college students from 1,040 faculties. Based on Mohinder, Deputy Director of the Division of Training, “The growing threat through the unknown and anonymous cyber world is a harsh reality nowadays. Children are easily vulnerable to this threat due to easy access and unmonitored content. It will create awareness among children about the dangers of children and will also show ways to protect themselves from it, and through this, children will also be informed about the responsible use of social media.
52 online sessions will be held
Under the scheme, a total of 52 online sessions will be organized for about 7.3 lakh students from 9th to 12th of 13 districts of Delhi. Earlier in May, NCERT also sent detailed guidelines to teachers defining the role of parents as well as teachers to promote safe, legal and ethical use of the internet by students.
