The National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the Common Admission Test (CMAT) 2021. The agency issued a notification in this regard. According to the notification, the Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has announced the examination pattern change of CEMAT. Under this, an additional section of innovation and entrepreneurship in entrance exam has been added. However, this section will be optional for candidates and will have 25 questions. In such a situation, the NTA has postponed the examination in view of the change in the examination pattern.
Agency again opened registration window
The agency has not provided any information about the new exam dates. However, it is expected that CMAT2021 can now be held in the last week of March or the first week of April. With the postponement of the examination, the agency has resumed the registration process for the exam. Candidates who were not able to register earlier can apply by 5 pm on 25 February. While the date for submission of application fee has been fixed as 26 February.

- First go to the examination portal cmat.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the application link on the home page.
- Click on the new registration link on the new page and go to the registration page.
- You will be able to register by entering all the information sought here.
- Now login with the application number and password allotted and submit the application.
