The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Board has been directed by the Mumbai High Court to share the option of internal marking on the website. The court directed the board to share the clarifying status of the alternative grading system for students who do not wish to appear for the pending examination of the board. After which the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) will share the option of internal marking on the website.

Examination postponed due to lockdown

All board examinations were postponed due to the first phase lockdown due to Kovid-19 in the country. After which now the board is planning to conduct the remaining 10th examination in July. However, the board has also given the option to the students to appear for the examination or to get the results according to the alternative method based on the prior board. Along with this, the board has also extended the last date for the option election. Now students can choose their option till June 24.

Examination will be held from July 01

The remaining examinations of the ICSE Board are to be held in July 2020. According to the new schedule released by the board, the exams of the 12th students will start from July 1 and the exams of the class 10th will begin from July 2, 2020. Later, the board issued an official notification on an official website, giving students the option to appear for the examination or to get the results based on the previous boards.

Parents filed a petition

Earlier, the parents had filed a petition in the High Court demanding that if millions of students gather in the exam hall for the exam then they will be at increased risk of infection of Kovid-19. This petition has demanded that coronaviruses are more likely to grow in their July, so the examination is selfish, so the examination should be canceled.
