- 47% Of Students Doing Mistake In “Motion In One Dimension”, Trend Found In Mock Practice’s “Practice” App Data

If a child in your home or acquaintances is preparing for engineering or medical entrance exam or intends to do so then these are your work statistics. About 47% of the students in JEE or NEET are unable to answer the questions on ‘Motion in one dimension’ in Physics and ‘Solution and Calligative Quality’ in Chemistry.
Even in Maths, 40% of the students are unable to solve the questions asked in the ‘Continuity and Differentiality’ chapter. At the same time, 37% of the students are unable to answer the questions of ‘Respiration in Plant’ in Biology. These findings come from the data of the ‘Mobile’, a mobile app created by the National Testing Agency for the practice of students preparing for JEE and NEET.
Vineet Joshi, director general of the National Testing Agency, says the idea behind the practice app was that students would know where mistakes were happening to them. In all the chapters in which the students are making mistakes, there are 10 who are not in the syllabus of the board examination this time.

Paper in which time is more, marks are less in it
In NEET, students give maximum time to Physics but are getting the lowest marks in it. Students in JEE are giving maximum time in Maths, yet it is less in marks. In both the exams, the students scored the highest marks in chemistry.
Physics, chemistry maths will be compulsory for JEE and CET
Physics, chemistry and maths will remain mandatory for admission in engineering for exams like JEE at national level or CET in states. AICT Chairman Prof. Anil Dattatreya Sahasrabuddhe made it clear that by changing the rules, the admission window has been opened for those students who did not read these subjects in the 12th standard. Universities, technical institutes and states will have to decide to enroll in engineering without studying these subjects. However, such students will have to compulsorily undertake a bridge course of three subjects in the first year.
Pro. Sahasrabudhe argued that students who had done a three-year diploma in mechanical, civil and electrical engineering from polytechnics after 10th have been given a lateral entry in BE or B.Tec directly in the second year. A decade ago chemistry in engineering was made optional. Under this, if someone has taken Physics, Maths with Engineering Drawing, Computer Programming, Statistics or Vocational Education, then he can get admission in Engineering.
Computer engineering students do not have to deal with chemistry in their careers. Biotechnology or bioinformatics are branches in which there is more benefit than having biology. CBSE and Open School have 12th in the subject of Agricultural Chemistry, while Chemistry is compulsory for admission in Agricultural Engineering. Pro. Sahasrabuddhe said, according to the new education policy, flexibility has been brought in the rules.
